Hey Everyone!
It’s Me-Again

      Let me help you be

You-again,

and again…

Dance is my medicine.

It always has been. Step by step, layer by layer, I built dance into my life in a nourishing way. Now I am passionate and grateful to guide others to use dance as a part of their wellness program.  The name “Me-Again” rings true in every class: with each moment leading you back to the heart of yourself.

A key moment in my professional journey — and using dance holistically –was when I found the Nia technique. Nia’s motto is “Through movement we find Health”.  The brave creators of Nia had a vision over thirty years ago, that fitness should feel good from the inside out, rather than focusing on the appearance-focused fitness paradigm of the eighties.

I own and operate Me-Again Dance Wellness to help people find vibrancy and release from daily stress and to feel Whole again, as well as staying fit.  My students run the gamut from professional athlete and dancer to those in wheelchairs or with other severe movement/cognitive limitations such as Alzeimer’s and Parkinsons’s disease. There is something for everyone, because we all need to dance!  I  offer a variety of Dance, Nia, Gentle Nia and seated dance classes and workshops. After teaching for over 20 years, I am more passionate about it every day.

I graduated with a BFA from the University of Michigan Dance Department and earned a Black Belt Certification from the Nia Technique. I also hold an MA in counseling from Goddard College.

The range and depth of my training allows me to creatively expand upon the Nia guiding principle — The Joy of Movement — and to use dance as a healing and wellness tool.

My mission is to bring holistic living into the mainstream.  One dance at a time.
